Fall Closet Organizing
With the cooler fall weather upon us, now is the perfect time to organize your clothes closet for the upcoming winter season:
- Start by going through your wardrobe from last fall and winter to see what you want to keep and what you can consign or donate.
- Try on your clothes to make sure they still fit and ask yourself: "When was the last time I wore this?". If you didn't wear it last fall, chances are you won't wear it this season either.
- Once you have sorted through your wardrobe, check to see if any clothes need mending or cleaning and take inventory to determine if there's anything new you need to buy to make your fall wardrobe complete.

That Was Easy!
Are you having a tough time staying focused on tasks and projects? Here's an idea that might work for you. One organizer uses a timer and the Staples “Easy" button to help her stay on track:
- First, set your timer for 15 minutes then start the task you've been avoiding.
- When the timer goes off, you can get up, switch to another task, take a break or simply reset the timer for another 15 minutes or 1/2 hour to get even more accomplished.
- When your task is finished, simply hit the Staples “Easy” button for a “That was Easy!” verbal reward.
Sounds silly, I know, but try it. It's kind of like an enthusiastic high-five!

Thanksgiving is almost here and the Christmas season is fast approaching, so it seems only appropriate to start thinking about sending out cards for the holiday season. Everyone likes to get a personalized card but you may be thinking "I just don't have enough time to write personal notes and mail out a bunch of cards!". Well, what if I told you that you could send out personalized cards without ever having to go to a store or the post office?
Send Out Cards.com is a website designed to make card sending easy. All you need to do is:
- Go to www.sendoutcards.com and create your account.
- Choose a card from their extensive online catalogue.
- Add a personal note and the mailing address of the person you are sending it to.
They will print, stuff, address and mail it for you. What could be easier! |
